Hired into SEMA in September 2000; he is the Administrative General Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the Atlanta Headquarters and supports Pete and the sales team in the areas of customer care, estimating, sales/financial systems, trade show planning, and administrative matters.

Married in October 1982, Richard has three children. His wife works with a regional mortgage company. Raised in a suburb of New York City, he graduated from NYU (New York University), in 1977 with a degree in Food Service Management and Dietetics.

Hired into the Foodservice industry in September 1977 by SAGA Foodservice, he worked inall department management positions including Director of Food and Nutrition. His twenty-three year career in healthcare management culminated with St. Joseph’s Hospital, Atlanta, GA.

Richard participated in Joint Commission of the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations surveys; and chaired/co-chaired various hospital/industry committees including, safety, employee morale, infection control, facility/department renovation, construction, strategic planning, HACCP, and vendor contract review.

Richard’s other interests include, cooking (always wanted to be a Chef), playing guitar, singing, and running (has run in Marathons). Civic involvement includes offices of Vice-President and President for his local Homeowners Association Board of Directors.
