Starting as an independent agent in October 1971, Articles of Incorporation were filed July 1, 1975 as manufacturer's agents headquartered in Atlanta, with a combined total of 25 years in the Food Service Industry. Our combined total years of selling experience in the industry now exceed 160 years. Currently branch offices are located in Birmingham, AL, and Nashville, TN. The main office in Atlanta includes 3500 square feet of modern offices and an equipped warehouse of 8,500 square feet.
Specializing in the Food Service Industry, it is our belief that a manufacturer's agent’s organization should be structured as a professional business. This necessitates the investment in personnel, education, equipment, telecommunication equipment, supplies, programs, technology, software, and time to be of superior service in the market place. It also requires that we be geographically located to serve our clients and principals.
We recognize we must direct our efforts to the primary areas of end users, chains, consultants (and other specifiers), and dealers.
Since competition in the market is strong, we must consistently improve our level of professionalism while using experience as a solid teacher. Continuing education programs are utilized to constantly update are individual and collective skills. CPMR and CFSP certification is encouraged and supported. Currently, Pete Cabrelli and Barry Ford are CFSP Certified and Pete Cabrelli, Michael Snyder and Richard Filitor are CPMR Certified.
We, as an organization, meet twice a year in our Atlanta Office to analyze our performance, share successes and failures and plan long range/annual goals. We all learn from one another.
We have implemented a sophisticated yet flexible communication program including a comprehensive contact management system integrated via information technology and telecommunication systems/devises/products. We also subscribe to Auto Quotes and were the first rep multi-user site.
All Salesmen have Laptops which allow them access to our company server located in the Atlanta Office in order to support them in their sales efforts. The Atlanta Office handles our customers’ needs, freeing up our Salesmen to grow our Principal’s business.
As businessmen, we recognize the need to provide the best exposure of our manufacturer's products. As a result, we participate in several local and regional trade shows, school foodservice and chef association meetings with our manufacturer's support (a list is furnished). In order to ensure booth traffic we send three mailings prior to key shows with messages regarding specific products to be exhibited and how their use will benefit them. Pre-show sales meetings are also held with dealer salespeople to assure they are brought up to date on our products.
Dealer Sales Meetings normally include live demonstrations when practical. Audiovisual programs available from our manufacturers are presented on our own equipment. We also furnish a continental breakfast when meetings are held in the early morning.
