Married with two daughters he  graduated from Peru State University, Lincoln, NB. From college he attained the rank of TSGT Sergeant in the Air Force and held various management positions for six years.  Dan started work with SEMA Sept. 1, 1976 as a sales trainee in Atlanta and was relocated to Birmingham in early 1979. In fact, he was the first rep to be located in Birmingham by an Atlanta rep firm. During this time, Dan was an active member of the Air Force Reserve for 12 years.  Dan has attained Level II certification in the NAFEM certification program.  He is responsible for the creation of the SEMA “Brain Teaser” distributed to dealer personnel for the NAFEM Show.  He enjoys carpentry, gardening, golf, and fishing.

 He is responsible for Alabama, southern Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle.
