Born and raised in Atlanta, GA  Valerie  attended Fort Valley State University, and  graduated with the class of 1985, in Business Administration. She has three daughters, one son and two grandchildren. Prior to joining the SEMA team, Valerie was a Medical Lab Assistant and was a  certified phlebotomist (venipuncture technician.) where she worked at Piedmont Hospital for 4 years. She then went on to work at Deloitte & Touché in the Tax Department for three years. Valerie started with SEMA on November 6, 2000,as a temporary secretary.  She was offered and accepted a permanent position February 19, 2001.  She handles most of the internal clerical administrative matters in the Atlanta office.  

Valerie’s hobbies include fishing, boating, and horseback riding.
